Beginners Yoga Course
This Hatha Yoga course offer a complete and basic practice. It consists of breathing exercises (Pranayama), postures (asanas), Kriyas (yogic practices involving purification of the body) and relaxation techniques. The aim of this workshop is to offer participants a series of exercises and techniques that they can adapt in their daily lives as a personal practice. The idea is to create a regular habit to be able to obtain greater benefits by integrating these components into your daily life to achieve Vibrant Health.
Classical Hatha Yoga is perfect for complete beginners or people who have only practiced yoga occasionally. You will gradually be introduced to the basic postures for developing strength and flexibility, breathing exercises for increasing your energy and focus and relaxation techniques for body, mind and spirit. Feelings of calmness and well-being can already be experienced after the first class. The workshop includes an introduction to the yogic diet and its health benefits. You will work on deepening the breath through new breathing techniques and learn a simple meditation technique to still the mind.
This course is an excellent introduction to a Classical Hatha Yoga practice. The basic poses or asanas are much more than just stretching. They open the energy channels, chakras and psychic centers of the body while increasing flexibility of the body and mind. Here we begin with the basic fundamentals of YOGA.
No previous yoga experience necessary. Students are taken through the class step-by-step in a small group, with explanations of the postures (asanas) and breathing exercises (pranayama), which allows for more personal one-to-one corrections. This is open to anyone who is completely new to yoga, or anyone who would like to go back to the basic
The duration of the course is 4 weeks (one class per week), two hours per class. The cost of the full yoga course is $150 with book or $125 with out book.
